Thank you for your interest in our youth soccer club. We would like you to know more about us.



The Roe Jan Soccer Club was organized 14 years ago to give area youth the same opportunities as those offered in other communities. We are now presenting our development programs through the Columbia United Soccer Academy. This will help people know we serve more than just the Roe Jan area. We have always served the southern end of Columbia County, New York and this name change will help players and families from the Hudson and Taconic Hills school districts, as well as other areas not served by a club, identify us as their local soccer club.



Over the years we have carried both girls and boys team for ages 10–19, as well as provided clinics and training for free, or at very little cost.   League play, insurance and support for our club, are provided through our membership in the Capital District Youth Soccer League (CDYSL) www.cdysl.org .  Through them we are associated with the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA).  The club has experienced coaches and the league requires all our head coaches to obtain United States Soccer Federation (USSF) coaching licenses. What we offer the kids is on a par with coaching and soccer experiences available in the Capital Region. 



The foundation for good school teams is built through strong club soccer programs. To provide our kids with a quality club program we need adult volunteers to help us with the myriad of tasks needed to run a youth program.  We need people like you to serve on our board, chair committees, and help with administrative work.  Please, come and join us to help us bring quality programs to our kids!  With your help and community support, I know we can continue to offer an outstanding club soccer experience that will help us get our school soccer up to the level it should be in the fall! I look forward to having you and your child join us to experience the fun of club soccer with Columbia United!
